Monique Carine Ondoa Enyegue new Secretary General of FINANCIA Group
(LVDE) — Appointed Secretary General of FINANCIA Group as of January 1, 2026, Carine Ondoa Enyegue assumes a strategic mandate : strengthening coordination among the various subsidiaries and supporting the growth momentum of this pan-African group operating across the CEMAC region.
At FINANCIA Group’s headquarters, the announcement has been widely viewed as a natural progression. After seventeen years within the organization, Monique Carine Ondoa Enyegue has officially taken up the role of Group Secretary General. Her appointment, confirmed by a decision signed on January 5, 2026 in Douala by Group President Serge Yanic Nana, reflects a clear intention to reinforce governance and streamline the institution’s internal structure.
In her new capacity, she oversees coordination among the group’s core entities, including FINANCIA Capital, FINANCIA Asset Management, and FINANCIA Properties. Her responsibilities include ensuring the alignment of procedures, the robustness of governance frameworks, and the smooth interaction between the asset management, advisory, and real estate divisions—an extensive task at a time when FINANCIA is expanding its involvement in major structuring projects.
Her professional journey highlights strong expertise in financial engineering. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Diagnostics earned in 2005 from Pierre Mendès France University in Grenoble. She joined FINANCIA in 2008 as a financial analyst and was promoted three years later to project coordinator, where she distinguished herself in structuring complex transactions, particularly in the energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors, as well as in mobilizing financing from public and private partners.
This appointment comes amid growing visibility for FINANCIA Group across CEMAC markets. A recognized player in investment services, asset management, and public-private partnerships, the group aims to expand its economic impact throughout the sub-region. By entrusting the General Secretariat to an executive who rose through its ranks, management sends a strong signal of stability, continuity, and confidence in internal talent to drive the next phase of its development.
