HUMAN CAPITAL : Tractafric Equipment honors 68 employees in Cameroon
(LVDE) – The Optorg Group subsidiary recognized 68 of its employees during an official labor medal ceremony held on March 27, 2026 in Douala at its Ndogbati site. Presided over by the Minister of Labour and Social Security, the event highlights the company’s commitment to human capital development and compliance with social standards.

In Douala, at its Ndogbati facility, Tractafric Equipment Cameroon celebrated the dedication of its workforce through a formal ceremony marked by the awarding of honorary distinctions. A total of 68 employees received silver, vermeil, and gold labor medals in recognition of their years of service and contribution to the company’s growth. This initiative forms part of a structured approach to talent retention and the promotion of a corporate culture built on performance and excellence.
Held under the patronage of the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Grégoire Owona, the event brought together several administrative authorities, including the Governor of the Littoral Region, Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua, the Mayor of Douala, Roger Mbassa Ndine, as well as the Senior Divisional Officer for Wouri. This strong institutional presence reflects the importance attached to corporate social practices and their role in strengthening the national economic fabric.
For the management of Tractafric Equipment Cameroon, this recognition goes beyond symbolism. Operationally, the subsidiary relies on a robust logistics infrastructure, with an inventory of genuine spare parts valued at over CFAF 6 billion and more than 12,000 items in stock. Its service rate stands at around 92%, with optimized supply times to meet the needs of clients in high-demand sectors. The company has also strengthened its industrial footprint with the inauguration, in 2021, of a civil engineering equipment assembly plant at the Port of Kribi, illustrating its contribution to local economic development.
