(LVDE) – The ambitious initiative aimed at promoting Cameroonian entrepreneurship in the digital age, whose second edition is rapidly taking shape under the patronage of Kate Fotso, will be held on December 4, 2025, in the economic capital, Douala.
Entrepreneurial excitement is building in Douala, where more than 150 project holders will gather on December 4, 2025, for the second edition of “Scale Up Your Business.” Conceived by entrepreneur Nathalie Koah, the initiative is garnering attention thanks to its rich and intensive program. The patronage of Kate Fotso, CEO of Telcar Cocoa and an influential businesswoman, gives the event a significant boost, promising meaningful benefits for participants.
According to Manuela Tabala Ebe, spokesperson for the event: “The main objective is to help young entrepreneurs grow their businesses using modern tools such as branding, digital marketing, artificial intelligence, and effective commercial strategies.” For this edition, the organizing committee has planned interactive workshops and networking sessions addressing key topics such as building a strong brand, project financing, and integrating AI into business strategies.

Around fifteen African digital experts, including Philippe Simo and Danielle Sassou, will take the stage to share their knowledge and experience. The event’s impact lies in the exchange of know-how, creating an essential collaborative space to face the increasing competition in the market. According to Jim Ayissi, a participant in the first edition, he was able to capitalize on what he learned: “The strategies I acquired opened the door to a program with LVMH, which resulted in a brand-new collection dedicated to Afro-modern luxury,” he said.
The branding landscape in Cameroon is undergoing a major transformation, fueled by the rise of small and medium-sized enterprises on social networks. Although concrete data on the Cameroonian market is lacking, it is undeniable that branding has become a key asset for retaining customers and strengthening corporate reputation in a competitive environment.
However, challenges remain: intermittent connectivity and the high cost of digital services make it difficult for SMEs to access modern digital tools. Despite these obstacles, the digital sector offers major opportunities for companies ready to adapt. The “Scale Up Your Business 2025” event thus represents a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn, exchange, and prepare for the demands of an increasingly digitalized market. With such an initiative, the future of digital business in Cameroon looks promising—ripe for exploration and investment.
