(LVDE) — Following the meeting of its Board of Directors held in early December 2025, Cameroon’s National Hydrocarbons Corporation (SNH) has carried out a significant reshuffle of its Executive Board. This new configuration, marked by strong internal promotion and an unprecedented level of female representation, reflects a broader drive to modernize governance and strengthen managerial efficiency within the country’s strategic public enterprise.
The SNH formally confirmed the substantial reorganization of its Executive Board after the Board of Directors’ session held on December 3, 2025. Decisions No. 104, 105 and 108, signed between December 10 and 12 by the Managing Director, formalize the appointment and renewal of several senior executives to key positions. The information, published in the SNH’s institutional magazine (July–December 2025 issue), highlights a clear policy choice in favor of internal promotion and the recognition of in-house expertise.
A major highlight of this reshuffle is the appointment of Nathalie Moudiki, née Ada Engamba, as Advisor No. 2 to the Managing Director, making her the first woman to hold this position within the SNH. A trained lawyer with expertise in corporate engineering, she brings more than 27 years of experience within the organization, having spent most of her career in the Legal Division, which she has headed since 2019. Her entry into the Executive Board, while retaining her current responsibilities, symbolizes a notable evolution in the company’s governance framework.
Another strategic appointment sees Daniel Olle joining the Executive Board as Advisor to the Managing Director, while continuing to serve as Director of Human Resources. His career path, spanning legal and managerial roles since joining the SNH in 2010, underscores the corporation’s determination to place human capital management at the center of institutional performance.
On the operational front, the Board of Directors strengthened several key departments. Delphine Mai-Awe Domwa was appointed Director of Maintenance and Security, while retaining her position as Special Advisor. An engineer by training, she has held various technical roles since joining the SNH in 2008. In the Finance Department, Corine Ayayi was promoted to Director after more than twenty years of service, assisted by Souadatou Labarang, appointed Deputy Finance Director. Both executives have extensive expertise in treasury management, financing and portfolio management.
The transformation also extends to information systems, with the appointment of Ngounou Leugoue, née Moutchi Ngbango Rikia, as Head of the IT Division, drawing on her proven experience in leading internal digital projects. In addition, Martial Yannick Djiani Tchuimbou’s mandate as Secretary of the Internal Procurement Commission was renewed, ensuring continuity in the governance of strategic procurement processes.
Overall, this Executive Board reshuffle reflects a clear commitment to enhancing performance, stability and inclusiveness within the SNH. In line with national policy orientations promoting the empowerment of women and young professionals, the newly configured leadership embodies a governance model focused on competence, continuity and adaptation to the evolving challenges of Cameroon’s oil and gas sector.
