CAMEROON : CCA-Bank Opens a Service Desk on the Ngaoundéré Campus and Supports the Graduation Ceremony at the Faculty of Science

On 22 November 2025, the University of Ngaoundéré hosted a major double event : the official opening of a CCA-Bank service desk on campus, followed by the solemn ceremony for the awarding of diplomas and prizes to graduates of the Faculty of Science. These activities took place at the Hamadjoda Adjoudi amphitheatre, in the presence of a large audience and numerous distinguished guests.

A Strengthened Partnership Between the University and CCA-Bank

The day was marked by the presence of a significant CCA-Bank delegation led by Ms. Stéphanie Tchouendong, Director of Marketing and Communication, accompanied by the Regional Director for the North, the heads of the Ngaoundéré branch, and several staff members from the head office. On the university side, the rector, deans, heads of department, and several lecturer-researchers enhanced the prestige of the ceremony with their presence.

The various speeches highlighted the strength of the partnership between the University of Ngaoundéré and CCA-Bank, particularly regarding student support, the promotion of academic excellence, and the enhancement of employability for young graduates.

A New Banking Service Desk for the University Community

The inauguration of the CCA-Bank service desk on campus was one of the highlights of the day. This new branch will allow students, lecturers, and administrative staff to access essential financial services directly on site : account opening, deposits and withdrawals, payment of university fees, financial advice, among others.

In her remarks, speaking on behalf of CCA-Bank, Ms. Stéphanie Tchouendong praised the vision of the University of Ngaoundéré, which is committed to improving students’ living and learning conditions. She also reaffirmed CCA-Bank’s commitment to supporting young people in managing both their personal and professional projects.

A Graduation Ceremony Under the Banner of Excellence

The second part of the event was dedicated to awarding diplomas to the graduates of the Professional Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes. In an atmosphere filled with pride and emotion, the graduates received their distinctions to applause from their lecturers and loved ones.

University officials and attending partners commended the resilience and hard work of the students, stressing the importance of scientific training for Cameroon’s development. Special prizes were awarded to the top students in each programme, some of which were offered by CCA-Bank as the official sponsor.

The ceremony concluded with a friendly gathering that brought together students, families, academic leaders, and partners for warm exchanges and souvenir photos.
