(LVDE) – Nestlé Cameroon, a key player in the agri-food sector, has announced a new initiative aimed at modernizing its infrastructure. As part of this effort, a call for tenders has been launched to select companies specialized in floor treatment and coating works at its Douala Bonaberi site. Interested companies have until August 15, 2025, to submit their applications.
As part of its development and facilities optimization strategy, Nestlé Cameroon is initiating a tender process to recruit companies with expertise in floor treatment and coating. This initiative is part of an ambitious project to modernize its infrastructure at the Douala Bonaberi industrial site — a vital hub for the company’s operations.
The call is open to companies with solid experience and proven references in the field of floor coating. The objective is to ensure high-quality and durable work, while supporting Nestlé’s expansion in the region. Applicants must submit their applications electronically to the specified address, including a set of essential documents.
Interested companies are required to provide their Trade and Personal Property Credit Register (RCCM), along with a Tax Existence Declaration (DFE). Audited financial statements for the years 2022 to 2024 must also be included, enabling Nestlé to assess the financial health of each applicant. In addition, companies must provide their taxpayer number and an information sheet detailing their turnover over the past three years, business location, and a list of major commercial references in the floor coating sector.
The selection criteria are strict. Expressions of interest must be written in either French or English and include the subject line: « SELECTION ENTREPRISES TRAVAUX REVETEMENT DE SOL ». It is important to note that only complete applications, submitted with all required documents and before the deadline, will be considered. Furthermore, applicants must comply with Nestlé’s Supplier Code of Conduct and Business Principles, available on the company’s website.
The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, August 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM. This timeline provides companies with ample opportunity to prepare robust application packages, while contributing to the growth of a crucial sector in Cameroon’s economy.
This initiative is part of Nestlé’s broader commitment to sustainability and innovation. The company has recently invested in various projects aimed at improving its environmental practices and reducing its carbon footprint. By partnering with local businesses for its infrastructure projects, Nestlé demonstrates its commitment to boosting the local economy and creating job opportunities.
